Branding Worldpay Rethink eCommerce event



Ecommerce is a rapidly expanding market, with more than 1.7 billion people buying goods online every year. There are dozens of events held each year aimed at online merchants and payment providers, so standing out from the crowd can be difficult. WorldPay’s own event, ReThink eCommerce, has been running for the past six years and needed a brand redesign to help it stand out in this crowded, competitive market.


We were asked to create a new brand for the event, and design and build a website to support it. The aim was to produce something that could compete with other, similar events and be used globally as well as regionally. The final product needed to position the event as ‘the place to be’ to gain payment insights and learn about key topics and trends within the ecommerce market. The target audience was existing Worldpay customers, prospects and partners who are already familiar with the company.

Our response

Using the existing Worldpay brand guidelines, we created all the assets for the new brand, including logos, website landing pages and email templates for invitations to the event. The new branding was used for the pre-event promotion and during the event, including on T-shirts, and was well received by both the client and event attendees.
